I wouldn't have a problem except no one in my office is on my team! Or even BU. So I drive into the office to do conf calls with Bangalore and Austin. Is that stupid or what.

Ireland and UK are completely safe.
Couple of other countries as well for most of it's parts.
Phase 2 countries on pause. They can start/continue interwieving with to other jobs

There is no mention of Ireland specifically in the FAQ
And anyway any remote promotion needs to be signed off by Jeff Clarke, no manager will be stupid enough to go in front of him asking for a promotion for a remote person
@aa+1jjy3bffn + there are in the FAQ even some country specific (UK, Ireland, etc.) information, which makes for example even a UK remote promotion possible.
Ireland, in Europe, is not a phase 2 country.
