hey all...just saw the official unofficial email which will come out Friday 1/31 to all employees. Net is TMs aren't achieving 39 days RTO, and as such ELT has looked at the open numbers and confirmed TMs are more productive and happy working in the office f2f 5 days a week (not 2, not 3 , not 4). Badge swipes in/out will be tracked until everyone gets in sync and work hours tracked based on employee preference on core hours. Core hour choices are 8am to 5 pm OR 9am to 6 pm exceptions being APAC, LatAm.

Absolute nonsense. Huge amounts of teams are in different geos and do early and / or late calls
Making people stay in the office 8.30 to 5 would result in people not doing our of hours calls and Dell would suffer greatly
plenty of support queues are 24/7 so no way core hours are that limited.
5 day rto is real, but I fu--ing hope they don't track time in office. Thatll be what makes me leave. Coffee badging is the only thing making me stay
