Found out a few days ago several stores are closing in march
Newington CT,Minnetonka MN and several more. Rumor is by the end of 2025 there will be 500 stores closures. Staples is a dying company ! They are just stringing everyone along to stay thinking there will be a different outcome. There is not, the writing is one the wall and it has been for some time. When you see store mangers that have been there 20-25 years bailing. It’s time to run not walk !! I thought I was going to wait to the end. If you wait until the end nothing will be left no severance, your fooling yourself all that will be left is you with no job. I left little while ago. It was the best decision of my life wish I did it years ago. No more stress better family my family life. Honestly better for everything. If you’re reading it and you are still there take the leap and get out.You wont regret and it will be your best decision you have ever made .Wish all my fellow mangers good luck !

yup. there are a lot of ppl in denial
I’m not sure that anyone would think it isn’t a dying company (internal or external perspective).
Staples will cease to exist in its current form and continue to shrink until it’s dissolved or broken up into small businesses and sold off. I’m not sure why there is this thought it will magically turn around from the wreck it is.
