You ARE the WORST. How do you even look at yourself in the mirror. How can people not vote them out....what does it take.

Jan Babiak is a fraud. What value has she brought to the board? DO NOT re-elect her. Stefano, Valerie, Ginger..quite frankly the entire group needs to go.
Fire this entire Board! My god, where else could you be so utterly worthless and keep your job??!!!
Most of Walgreen's issues should have been addressed years ago. Wasson's "Re-wire for Growth" along with the company's propensity for filling opiods wi--y nilly helped put Walgreens on a path to failure. Roz Brewer did the compny no favors either. We may have reached that tipping point where there is no turnaround. And yes, the board is useless.
I didnt say it wasnt obvious. I am asking what you would do differently, seeing as you have all the answers. Complaining about the past is easy. What would you today that would change things?
Nothing will change because the chairman owns over 15% of the company. Not defending the horrible performance of the company, but this is the only reason why no activist investors have challenged the company since 2015.
The person who keeps asking what the Board would do differently should have an IQ of zero. Isn't it obvious the Board is a complete failure? The Walgreens Board is a textbook example of what not to do. The Board should have provided better oversight so that the Company is not slapped with fines and lawsuits. The Board should have done a better job in selecting company leadership and holding them accountable. When the company is the worst performing stock in S&P 500 in 2024, keeping quiet with no leadership changes is not the sign of a good Board. The Board should have done more to ensure a successful strategy is in place. Need more?
Not saying things are good. I am asking what you would do differently.
Does it matter? It's their job...that is what they get paid to do. That is deflecting the issue. The issue is they are failing at huge proportions....employees are held accountable for piddly things. What are these people held accountable for? Facts don't lie.
- Company has lost over 70% the last five years
- closing stores
- lawsuits nonstop
- worst stock in 2024
- Walgreens had a net loss of $265 million in the first quarter of this year, compared with a net loss of $67 million during the same quarter the previous year.
- terrible press all the time
- suspending the dividend
- beyond poor employee morale
Hmmmmm and these people still have jobs? Come on....how is that for a perfomance while being on a Board?
What would you do differently?
