you have to apply to be included in the share discount purchase program. It is not auto inclusion.
sorry if this is a stupid question but do all newbies in 3m get offered share inclusion through deduction in wages or do we have to ask for it, my colleagues who have been here a few more months than me have never been offered anything or it has been mentioned
No wonder BB & executives and those with loads of LTI are pushing so hard for their KPIs now... only they get to benefit
Those employees should not fall for the GESPP for that measly 15% discount to feed these people who just talk and demand.
Options expire after so many years. What you are seeing is people selling their options before they expire.
The only difference now is that the stock is actually worth more than the strike price. So there’s value enough to sell.
It doesn’t mean this is the highest the stock will go.
This is normal. Many of the options expire in a week so it’s use em or lose em.
I’m just numb to it all. Millionaires just live in their own world, and just tired of trying to read all the tea leaves to try to figure out when they will find humans and workers useless. It all leads to the ultimate class warfare anyways, so I’d rather just prepare for the war than worry about the battles. Cuts will come, outsourcing will come rinse and repeat. Eventually they run out of carrots to dangle and the working class have the numbers……their biggest fear.
3M issues stock options (equity) to executives to incentivize them to increase stock price. Short selling at this time clearly indicates stock price will not increase in 2025.
Never forget that 3M leadership was cobbled together from not relevant external hires.
They intentionally hurt 3M employees.
Those are annual stock option exercises, not an indication of anyone "heading to exit doors"
Most of these transactions are scheduled. It limits the risk of insider trading accusations.
