I heard a rumor a week ago that Optum was going to be doing a mass layoff in the revenue cycle dept. that supports Northern Light Health in Maine. Does anyone know if this is true? I find it oddly coincidental that exactly 30 minutes after our dept manager asked us to work on the "My Career Story" to "update and build up" our resumes during our 1x1 meetings, I received an anonymous call from whom I assume is an employee. The energy has been feeling off for the past few weeks. I was hoping someone may have heard something more than I have.

The mass layoff in Optum Revenue Cycle already happened on 1/23/25 with our last day of employment on 2/6/25.
