this whole thng is unbelievable. digital river didn’t just go under. they straight up stole from us. they kept the money customers paid for our products and just never sent it. months of payments missing. they knew exactly what they were doing. strung us along like everything was fine and then bo-m minus insolvency no warning no announcement nothing... silence...
they were trading while insolvent since at least july. that's fraud plain and simple. they sent out license keys to customers so people have legit copies of our software but we get nothing. meanwhile the execs they walk away with fat pockits.
and barry kasoff this was the plan from day one. whistleblowers called it to the exact date. instead of trying to fix things they just lied and kept raking in money. this is a criminal act under german law. no limited liability protections if it was planned deception and guess what that’s exactly what this was.
where’s the announcement. where’s any responsbility. instead they just let employees go left vendors scrambling and basically told everyone to f-off. they didn’t care about their partners their employees their customers. they just wanted to squeeze every last dollar out minus pulling the plug.
we need to take legal action. if you’re owed money report this as fraud to your bank credit card paypal minus whoever. people are already talking about lawsuits and they should be worried. this doesn’t just go away.
