Human Resources continue to send out notices the 2024 Performance Appraisals discussions with our supervisor are due Friday, January 31 in the US. We heard rumblings the January 31st deadline has been extended. What has others heard? Are the layoffs going to occur January 30 or January 31st?

Today was a terrible day at Maumee and Novi. Too many people were let go.

Maumee to be substantially thinned out before end of quarter.
There is chatter about organizational restructuring at Maumee in next 1-2wks.
Program managers and engineers, programmers, network guys, accounts payable and receivable ok for now. Purely administrative like procurement, HR, facilities, quality, not so much.
Depends on the department and role for timing. Layoffs ongoing until all parties are happy with headcount. Also heard 5 days a week in the office is coming for Q2 which might make some folks quit. Sales and takeovers take time and have lots of uncertainty. They will likely keep some technical positions for facilitating the handover.
Any know if Dana continues to layoff team members at Novi or Maumee?
The layoffs are ongoing. Dana has laid off 15 more people at Novi, since last Thursday.

HR just being incompetent as usual causing fear. Either way, layoffs are coming. The “when” doesn’t matter if your name is on the list. Names have already been submitted.
