The answer is simple. Terrible leadership. They should be held accountable for destroying an iconic American company.

You continue to hire the worst so called leadership and they don't know how to adjust. You continue to be sued for being unethical nonstop, you continue to keep the employees at the worst morale in a business. It's amazing how the so called District Managers go into stores and say do this and do that when the company is failing nonstop. I wonder what they think, if they think at all about saying do this when whatever you say doesn't work. It has to be maybe the worst big company being run in the country. Who would ever invest in them. Some invest in them after losing 92 BILLION in a few years in net worth....why? FACTS are FACTS.
