Since I am facing so much ageism after being laid off (just over 60 so can’t qualify for retirement stuff yet), I might apply for sh$&s and giggles…. I’ve had perfect opportunities matching my unique experiences and they went with someone else. My applications go to the trash as I never hear on most of them. Everyone is too afraid to engage with me because they could say the wrong thing and be sued.

Not just marketing in UK but everywhere. Cargill is not the place to work in marketing. Just seeing the names canned in UK, US, globally is enough to show you Cargill doesn’t know what good marketing is. Get out while you can, I know I plan to.

They canned quality marketing folks in the UK, anyone who was a threat. Their crime? For knowing what actually needs to get done and how to do it. Don’t dare outshine the dim.

That post was so horrifically tone deaf. Jen Hartsock did nothing in her first 18 months with the company and then relocated DT&D to Atlanta, pulling them away from the business and completely disconnecting DT&D’s work from business priorities.

She’s ineffectual and a bully behind closed doors. Whoever takes this EA job is in for a disaster of managing an executive with limited influence outside of her circle of (mostly) inexperienced yes men who do nothing truly impactful.
Michael Glowacki and Kelly Olin specifically come to mind as people with limited leadership experience at the level they’ve been promoted to and have done nothing of note or meaning in the 18-24 months they’ve held their positions. Was disappointed to see neither were let go in the restructure.

One of people who last held this EA position had to literally teach one of Jen’s reports how to schedule a new Teams meeting after they used a link from a previous meeting to accidentally share confidential performance and pay data with a different report. Incompetent and careless.

These id--ts are the definition of imposters and should have been impacted during the restructuring after years of poor management and no meaningful progress on digital transformation.

Marketing leader chosen for NA is just shockingly terrible and disorganized, I bet there will be more that quit and more roles posted.

The leadership team is just shameless… you laid off thousands of hard workers and took away their livelihood to fund lavish lifestyles of the Cargill family. And now you are back on a hiring frenzy when there ate many good people struggling to get income after being impacted by Cargill. How do these leaders sleep at night?

The assistant might be a better job of the ERP rollout. Costed millions over 8 years and still a hot mess with more millions to be spent till everyone gets this car crash sh1tshow was a total waste. Payday for vendors and contractors who laugh all the way to the bank
