An important update was shared during today’s workforce globalization meeting in Optum Insight Provider. Leadership is moving forward with Project Optum, which is short for (O)nshore (P)ositions (T)o (U)rban (M)umbai. This initiative involves transitioning certain roles in Revenue Cycle and IT for MPP and Managed Services customers to the Mumbai office.
Leadership believes this move will help productivity, reduce operational costs, and allow the business to scale more effectively to sell more big deals.
