Thread regarding Omnissa layoffs

Why are we setting unreal expectations with current platform capabilities?

100% agreed. I have been part of software development firms in the past and they would talk about future product in customer meetings but follow up directly with demo's.

Omnissa has no product to show right now it's just product vision and hope. It's 100% vaporware and if they were publicly trade they would have a lawsuit against them because of it.

"Built on the vision of autonomous workspaces"

A software vision without a real product offering is Vaporware. Not only is the vision not credible, but it makes our customers defer their subscription renewals. It's very frustrating when you're trying to convince customers to buy, and marketing keeps producing fluff content pieces for the Omnissa product team.

Leadership has never been honest about product capabilities. Anyone who tried to compete against Citrix learned that the hard way.

LOL, I cracked-up when I read this part. My customers have read the Gartner report.
