RTO to keep employees from moonlighting at other companies

I am baffled by Tom Krause. His email addressing the entire company on the return to office policy made me cringe. Apparently, he wants employees in the office to keep them from secretly working a second job from home! Wow, hats off to this leader! This is the most ridiculous reasoning I have ever heard to defend a return to office policy.

Tom Krause should lay off himself in the next wave of mass layoffs at the end of November because - and I quote him in his words - “we must do what is best for the business”.

I'm a Citrite and couldn't agree with you more. I'm not surprised our counterparts at Tibco saw the same thing and feel the same way. Tom has started pulling the levers playing at the emotions of many unmotiviated employees just to keep them from from staying and saving money. I am sorry Tibco and Citrix peers but we're "FU^K#KeD". but i'm not leaving regardless of the controversy - Tom will need to pay me to leave unless screws me on ranking or evaluation which ever comes first. We playing Chess now Man!
