This is going to require a LOT of layoffs to compensate for.
I was curious as to why they didn't fire the CISO yet after presiding over the hack from last year, but then I see how BM's entire leadership cadre has become incompetent - anyone with actual leadership skills could have set up a minimal data-sharing program (complete with dealer-grated permission gatekeeping and even a nominal fee that monetizes it for CDK) to avoid this lawsuit.
But no - BM and his crew is only interested in one thing: pillaging a once-great company.
I wonder what this will mean for the company going forward. Seems like a big loss time and time again
the lawsuit settlement makes the hack payout seem like pocket change.
