For any company, for deepseek….why trust it?
Its like you have a pile of cash on your counter and you’re going away for a few days. You leave a well known compulsive gambler to house sit for you while you’re away. Who’s fault is it really when you come back and all your money is gone?
So, sure, lets use deepseek to manage our data, finances and passwords. I mean its cheaper thus better. Is this really the route that companies want to go? Surely risk assessments won’t be so aloof as to turn a blind eye.
Its a good thing that 40+% of the successful hacking efforts do not originate from China.
Its also a good thing that the government of China doesn’t have its hooks and access in all of the platforms and publicly offered services kept in China. What’s there to worry about?
