This post is anonymous supposedly. It is being weeded through to make sure positive information is coming out for the company. This company is in free fall deeply in debt. The human resources department runs every supervisor and the plant. They have no clue how the company runs much less the process of how the cable is made. They are more involved with weaving out experienced operators to replace them with younger cheaper labor. This is why this company will fall. The supervisors have many years 20 plus they are just biding their time to retire nobody wants to be there not even your boss. DEI has ruined this company. We created a job that pays 200k a year for somebody and that position. We have a dei chief. And human resources is so stupid there cutting jobs at every blink of the eye to get in cheap labor. I've left a year ago and I feel so sorry for all of my friends I worked with it's very unfortunate

"..DEI has ruined this company..."
No... Unsustainable acquisitions is ruining the company. A company collecting other companies "just to have them" with no strategic vision; no long term planning, and no preliminary investigation into "should we acquire this new company" before actually acquiring another company is what's ki-ling this company.
Short-sighted SLT members (all the way to the CEO) who only care about hitting their quarterly targets is what's sinking this ship. Bean counters who know nothing of the cable and fiber business are the captains of this Titanic.
Furthermore, cost cutting which involves laying off your US staff while relying exclusively on 3rd world country labor pools because they're "cheaper" is the culprit and it has nothing to do with DEI policies.
I know DEI is the popular scapegoat right now, but use some critical thinking, and analyze the real cause behind this sinking ship.
@ds+1jjnb9tp6. Yeah it's bright future and turned around ...for the slt and "yes" managers. Place has no structure ,hr is a disaster, only good for fluffy feel good Bs and do noting on the ground. Employees still struggling with workloads of those laid off and merit increases don't even match inflation. Believe it or not ,this place does not treat employees good.. how can they when they are struggling to make a living??
There’s a bright future for CommScope! Things have turned around since you have left last year.
Ask you supervisor. They cannot do s***. They have to ask human resources first. I had to lazy supervisors one was not lazy just a di-k head. The other was straight up lazy let everybody do his job for him and if you ever have a doubt just ask ronscoop
