Thread regarding Kyndryl layoffs

Global RA Tsunami to be unleashed in April

Shortly after the disastrous q4 and full year figures are published, an unprecedented global resource action will be unleashed in Kyndryl globally - especially Northern Europe, ANZ and North America employees will be decimated- no BU is safe.

Kyndryl is haemorrhaging existing profitable clients who are dropping off in an unprecedented volume.

Sales teams are unable to close deals desperately needed for q4, resulting in a massive tailspin.

RIP Kyndyl- the party is over.

@8jr this reads like someone from Kyndryl HR trying to encourage people to resign so that they can save on paying severance.

This original post was a couple of months premature. If i were a betting man I’d say the “RA Tsunami” might land in the last half of June, and then through July and August.

I have enjoyed my years at Kyndryl far more than the previous 18 with IBM. I feel I am fairly compensated and my direct leadership has had my back. Still, I'm not blind.

This week marks the end of month, end of quarter, and end of fiscal year. When that many planets align, layoff are likely. I'm planning to tender my retirement on April 30th (if I last that long) and offer to work through June if they want me to. We'll see!

I’m hearing from a lot of very nervous people in the US, particularly back office. Everyone is working scared.

Sales people in Europe and technicians in India.
This is the future of Kyndryl.
Customers want less and less for more and more service. This devours jobs in Europe, but favors employment in India.
Until the day when everything is in India, the business will be finished.

@gc+1jjmvph92 thank you for sharing a great real life example how this company is pure evil but expertly masks it with a waver thin layer of "the kyndryl way" sugercoating.

Employee brainwashing continues via the so called "Culture Office", which is staffed by orange mouthpieces- a division that would make the Na-i Propaganda Machine blush and envious

I can tell you how they do it in Eastern Europe - Poland, Czech Republic. For example, a team that supports one dedicated customer is told that their support is suspended and will be moved to India. The workers from this team are recommended to search for new opportunities or put themselves on the bench. At the same time, the workload is transferred to another local team, presented as a new customer! So these teams already have 30-50 clients and are overloaded. At the same time, they work on miserable salaries (sometimes even less than sellers in a local supermarket). In order to stay and not think about leaving, they are brainwashed daily with countless calls, emails, and meetings. They are constantly told that they are expensive for the company, so no salary increase is possible. This is Kyndryl East Europe

Indeed good luck to all those left behind on the Orange Titanic orchestra.

Please keep playing until conductor Martin switches off the lights.

Those who will be affected will mainly be in a physical location with a contract in North America, Northern Europe including CEE and ANZ.

By Northern Europe and rest you mean physical locations or markets? Because if we talk about market there are people working on it spread all over the world, in central and eastern Europe and India there are people working for Nordic markets so it would affect them too? The thing is Western and Northern Europe has strong labour unions and it's really had to fire people there. Usually they not that affected, instead people in India and central-eastern Europe are being "let go". Also how far down they want to go with numbers? Teams are already understaffed and underpaid. I don't think it's a way to safe company. It causes best people to leave on their own. Who you're left with are people who are desperate and can't find any other job. And they are not always, actually never best. Good luck to all the people out there.
