DELL stock down 11% today so my stock RSUs are not worth the effort anymore. Am I the only one who is the victim of China's new AI now? Why couldn't the China people have waited until after the RSUs vested? I'm angry.

Who gets RSUs? I thought it was all LTI as in stock grants. If that is the case it doesn't matter what the price is really. More is always better but if you sell them for less than the award price you get a tax break and free $.

The thing is it’s a lie. This tiny outfit beat OpenAI with just $6 million? Word is they had 50,000 A10s. That’s $100 million at current prices of $20k apiece. They also did it by stealing knowledge out of the superior gpt4o model with some clever techniques to go beyond in some areas. It’s like they burned the cd for like $150 million so they can claim they are the artist.

I guess legacy EMC didn't get RSUs.
Maybe we need to wait another couple of months for a repeat of last years “if you need infra, you go to Dell” to be spouted by the nvidia.
…or maybe HP or supermicro will be cream of crop…
But that will probably just be driven by who is putting most nvidia GPUs in their boxes or showing the biggest pipeline of billion dolllar optys.
