Exactly. Taxpayer funded programs need to stay in the US. People need to start hounding their elected officials about that. Aet*a Medicare Advantgae only has offshore ppl. Look at Medicare. The review company for appeals is Levanta. I have never spoken to one US based person in that program. And the appeals are always denied. Someone is making a boatload of money by hiring backwater people to basically deny all appeals.
Non clinical jobs completed by licensed clinicians are being offshored. Appears NO strict laws to protect American citizens. Remember a lot of RNs can take US RN licensure in the Philippines (NCLEX). If something needs clinical decision making, US citizen AND US licensed clinicians must do it. US government needs to protect its own.
Competition MA plans offshore both Medicare and Medicaid administrative work. MA offshores nurse and pharmacist reviews. Not illegal.
Which clinical jobs are being offshored? From my understanding I don’t think that the actual clinical jobs are(therapists, nurses, MDs). Just all the non clinical roles are from what I’m seeing being reported.
Dislikes this post = offshore people
Competitors such as CVS, Humana, and BCBS have been using nurses and pharmacists in the Philippine and India for many years. In fact 80% of Medicare Outpatient UM is reviewed by nurses in the Philippines.
Tax payer funded program stay in US. Petition your representative and Trump
