Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Stability and leadership

The best thing I can do as a leader and manager is provide stability for my team. I can’t because the people above me are absolutely terrible.

You not only should be ashamed of yourselves but should get the picture. The reason for your company tanking is YOU!

You are 60-65 year old men. You argue like children, you dress like kids, you’re an embarrassment and a bunch of nobodies.

Throw in the towel and leave. It’s time.

No rumors just a rant.

A manager at Dell who shifts blame to others? No. Way. Unheard of.

Constant criticism of men on these forums. Yet, when a woman is brought up, the word "s-xist" gets thrown around immediately. #stayclassy.

Wow. You people on this thread are pretty s-xist. You must be proud our CIO wears a t-shirt. It’s hard to take him seriously.

From your words, you don't seem to be much of a leader.

You are the worst leader.
To be a leader, you need to give your team a vision and skill.
If they have the good skill, they don't need to worry Dell layoff.
They can go anywhere.

Agree with the latest poster. The singling out of men is pretentious.

Dress has nothing to do with performance. My director dresses in very expensive clothing. She doesn’t bring anything meaningful to the table work-wise. Efficiency is not her forte.

I’d rather have someone who walks around stark na--d if it meant that they were great at their job and not a long term festering fu---s who floats to the top over time.

Not just old men. Look around. There are loser women in leadership as well ruining
entire organizations. I work for one and wish she would leave.

"What does dress have to do with anything?"

It has plenty to do with everything. M
en should not dress like kids.
Time to ditch the cargo shorts and OldNavy tshirts.

What does dress have to do with anything? Plenty of people in the world who wear designer clothing who are terrible human beings and plenty of managers who dress in great fashion that are walking train wrecks in the workplace.

Might want to think about your paradigm of life.
