Thread regarding Optum layoffs

I was a manager who got laid off and want to clear some things up. Off shore employees are not living in destitute like so many if y’all think, you were brainwashed to think that based on false media narrative. I got offered to travel overseas to train and the hotel and homes of the offshore workers are similar to what we have in America ( the fact you think an entire country is a slum is racist) and to the people who think they are getting paid $3 an hour. No they are paid between $13-$17 USD per hour. Plus healthcare benefits, via their countries healthcare system. ( which isn’t Uinuted Health) the company is just able to get a HUGE tax cut since they hire overseas. The people who are offshored aren’t living in squalor or struggling to obtain food. Please don’t be so ignorant or racist thinking every offshore employee is impoverished they are not. They think they deserve the job more than you and the middle eastern ones hate Americans yet handle the denials for members. The elites of the organization know this and don’t care. Stop letting your savior complex blind you thinking these people have it worse. There are American employees dying and starving while offshore employees are living better lives
