The layoff date for gulf states was 1/23. We were vaguely told 2 out of 10 markets are closing and Many layoffs are happening. We had hsms, md, ncm laid off. Then in the same meeting the director Said there will be more meetings next week. Does that mean more layoffs? I heard uhc population we serve was going go drop from 5% to 3% I could only assume more layoffs as caseloads are going to drop and lots of shifting is going to go around. My guess. Anyone has any insight?

WARN act is a joke. So you get notice ok useless information still out of a job. I would rather be told that day you gone on move on.
@bg+1jjdpayb3 Is that why they slowly dismantle each site 5-20 employees every three months - so they don’t report to WARN?
Where is it on the "Warn Act" why can't we find these lay offs anywhere on the Warn Act list?
The warn act is per state. And needs to have at least 100 or more members being laid off for a specific location. Since most of the workforce is remote or even the on-site employees are less than 100 legally they don’t need to post a warn act.
No word on which markets closed? Everyone is tight lipped and refusing to share any information. The DCO’s and VP’s claim they don’t know all the details. I’m guessing senior leaders have decided to take a “need to know” approach. Only those directly affected by layoffs will be given details.
