Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Layoffs Febuary

So 10-20% across all PSL's? Anyone see it yet?

I'll tell you this much, DBS ain't looking so hot after endeavor's buyout. Temps are all laid off and pi-s tests have started.

when you mean the ‘proper workforce’, you mean the self-entitled ingrates? you are right on the part to shut the place down though

10% of the proper workforce in Arbroath being let go, if you sit behind a desk and scan paperwork or have a headset on pretending you are in a meeting about having a meeting then you are safe. Place is full of snakes, just shut the place and be done with the toxic culture spreading through the factory. Horrible place!

Hal is too internally focused. Take a stroll out to the Permian and stay for a while. It’s booming more than ever, has been for the last several decades. Everyone is making money. Hal can’t because it cares only about managing upward and creating layers on layers of overhead. If more people were direct contributors with one bone in their body that cared about the customer experience, things would change. Oh and pay your hands better, they will care about their job more and you will be able to keep talent.

Speaking on dmmc behalf of Incompetent leadership, unmet promised objectives, failing stock price, it is recipe for future layoffs. Be prepared.

Should've never gotten rid of roller cone. What a d-mb move that was. But matrix is out the door here soon too, that much is obvious. I think it'll happen this year.

If i return to office was to get people to quit, why didnt they do it worldwide then and only houston?

Houston is the more expensive overhead. International is where halliburton is going, they're not gonna get rid of them. Look at what happened to carrolton and roller cone was sent to poland.

Hal is just too exposed to north america when the real growth is international. the signs are everywhere, hal just doesn't want to be in the US.

Do we have a reliable source on this? Are we really going to have a layoff? If i return to office was to get people to quit, why didnt they do it worldwide then and only houston?
