Hi, I'm in Ireland and wondering if I can still take Voluntary redundancy?

You can. Nobody asked you to work
Be careful what you wish for. The old terms of 6 weeks per year and a 104 cap expired a few days ago. Check your email from this time last year from broadcom HR. They were only good until the 19th/20th Jan 2025.
New year, new terms.
I was a US employee and volunteered for severance/separation just about this time last year. At the time, my manager told me she had been asked to note anyone who might be interested in voluntary separation. About 2 months later, to my surprise, she called to inform me my early departure was approved (by Hock no less - does that man ever sleep?). I exited about 2-3 weeks later, with a full severance package incl a payout of my June 2024 VMW RSU vest.
No idea if this is still going on within the VCF division, and/or if it was only a US thing?
new Broadcom contract
There was never a voluntary redundancy in Ireland.
The only 2 options you could have qualified for redundancy were either declining the new Broadcom or somehow get yourself on the list when one was available.
If such a list is forming up again, find a way to get yourself on it, otherwise you won’t see any redundancy.
Signs Of Social Media Addiction:
- Doomscrolling
- Spending an excessive amount of time on social media
- Thinking obsessively about social media, even when not using it
- Withdrawing from other activities (like spending time with family or hobbies)
- Obsessing over online image and reputation
- Feeling anxious when one cannot check social media
- Spending a lot of time thinking about and planning social media posts
- Obsessing over social media interactions (like comments, chats, likes, shares, etc.)
- Neglecting tasks and duties because of social media use
- An inability to cut back on social media use
Now the main question is if I take it can I still get my redundancy money?
