What is going on with these people? Everything takes forever, they all seem to be especially miserable and the steps to get anything done are horrendous. Who came up with this process and why is change impossible??

You are likely complaining about the third-party risk not sourcing timeline. The steps/timeline incorporate regulator demands.
I agree it is horrible. But they are having to be trained by the people whose jobs they are taking. You ask a question regarding a transfer or money movement and told you may have to wait 24 to 48 hours. Seriously?!
Broad that runs it? Isn’t it a dude?
Are you thinking of TF in Real estate maybe?
Any clue on the regulatory requirements placed on banks from the regulators? What bank has the rip roaring fast sourcing function?
Too much bureaucracy.
Paired with incompetence, egos, insecurity and Machiavellian games at the leadership level.
@b8+1jjc94pzk, Oh man, you really shut them down! They'll know better next time! You still haven't answered anything.
Yep on my perch kicking a can of crazy over
@a7+1jjc94pzk, What is unfocused about it? Oh that's right, you're not looking to add value to anything. You're just sitting on your temporary perch, skimming a web forum for places to gaslight and snicker. Leadership, right?
@OP+1jjc94pzk, This was brought to their attention before the merger "completed" and on Shareholder events to no avail. In fact many of those who could alleviate and correct this were "let go". EL would be in a corner if they had to show it wasn't outright Sabotage towards the teammates and customers.
Must be Friday unfocused rant
You can say that again. I cannot believe how long it takes.
