Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Good News / Bad News!

Good news: Glassdoor shows 65% of people approve of the PNC CEO (soon to be Fiserv’s CEO) πŸ‘, compared to only 35% for Frank, the current Fiserv CEO πŸ‘Ž. So, it’s probably for the best that Frank is on his way out and Lyons is stepping in.

The bad news: We can’t fully get rid of Frank πŸ™„. Now that he’s leading the government SSA, he’s still hanging around with some say in our future, especially when it comes to Social Security. πŸ‘€

β€œ Bad news: FB would still be the chairman”

Tell me you didn’t read the announcement without telling me you didn’t read the announcement.

At the time that Lyons becomes Chief Executive Officer, Doyle R. Simons, currently Lead Independent Director of Fiserv, will become non-executive Chairman of the Board.

Frank is required to divest his stock in the transition so he won’t be a major shareholder. Also he owns less than 1% of the stock. He has roughly 3M shares.

In the public release, the current independent director DS will become Chairman when FB leaves.

FB will still be a big shareholder - so I would think he will have some sway.

The bigger question, is what happens to all his cronies that were just as imcompetent as he is. Will they all jump ship?

(PNC employee).

Mike Lyons is not the PNC CEO. He is the president, and only has been for less than a year.

My hope would be some reversal of these analytics first decisions. The fear and BS around badge reports is insane.

It may be too late now, but we've lost so many talented people that have been remote the whole time they've been at Fiserv. 95% of people aren't going to relocate to go into an office. If you were hired in-office or live within an hour of an office I can understand RTO.

Fiserv used to have an office 20 minutes from me 5 years ago. Anyone who was in-office was told to work remotely so they could save money. It's insane to me that then they tell those same people they have to relocate to keep their job.

And for what? So they can suffer through badge reports and working in the office 9 hours a day?
