I'm getting more and more worried about being able to leave anytime soon. The few open positions available don’t offer decent pay or benefits, and it's no surprise I keep seeing them reposted. Nobody wants to take them up on their insulting offers. This isn't giving me any confidence about finding something better anytime soon.

Keep in mind, Elliot Management was able to buy into CC because the stock hit $80, which is where we are now... If the fiber sale is off, the stock will probably free fall. This combined with less productivity and sales because everyone thought that they'd be losing their jobs.
If the earnings come out and show that we've been losing money across the board AND the proposed deal to sell fiber is off the table, the the stock will crash... then we'll have to worry about lay-offs due to poor performance rather than the liquidation of fiber... It's not good that we're trying to sell our assets and no one wants to buy them.
It’s pretty tough out there in telecom. Fiber companies are hiring though. Worst case ride out this lull at crown till market picks up.
