Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Just a friend

Does anyone notice any relation to the issue s coming out of DC and the current layoffs (ie, government programs more than private ones). How about anything related to DEI, like older women 55 and up or some demographic like that?

No they keep the DEI empty suits who do nothing, and admins who sit on their duffs. They lay off docs, nurses, clinical staff. Since patient care is not really important to them at all.

Nothing to do with DEI, but cutting those made up jobs would help to reduce the bottom line. There is a full team managing that. Not adding value to the bottom line.

Optum/UHC has been doing lay-offs every single quarter for years. It’s the culture and has zero to do with anything going on in DC. Anyone would know that it takes more than 2 days for decisions made on Capital Hill to affect a corporate business. Nice try though bringing politics into the mix!
