BCBS is so much better and I wish where I worked offered it. While I believe all health insurance is somewhat problematic, in comparison BCBS is much more trustworthy and customer service much more helpful. Where I work, the main feedback on the year end survey wish list was to drop UH and go with something else.

See, that's where UHG is falling short! If only they could be as forward thinking as BCBS and change from Anthem to Elevance!
In fact, it was somewhat well known UHG was going to rebrand UHC at some point when I was there. Always figured it'd be rolled into Optum, but with the bi-partisan PBM breakup looming and UHG's reputation in the gutter, along with Optum's, that might not be the brand they go with.
But let's do an open poll, what, hypothetically, would UHC's (the payer) new name be under a rebranding? This should be at least a fun exercise! :D
I always assumed that the reason our Health insurance su-ks compared to many my friends who work at other fortune 500 companies is because it would be a PR disaster if UHC provided employees with better insurance then our customers. Isn’t that pretty obvious?
Get your medical insurance from the company store with company scrit.
Comparing UHC to the Blues is like comparing apples and oranges . Their structure is vastly different .therefore service , products, positions and pay are vastly different. I have worked for both. While the blues may pay a little more I much prefer UHC
Has nothing to do with layoffs fool but there needs to be a forum to get information out to the public and the government as to the corrupt behavior of UHC
Put the fries in the bag
Sure terminate self insured structure and buy a product from a competitor just genius
And what does that have to do with layoffs?
