I didn't expect to see any layoffs before at least next month and I was wrong. This came as a major shock to me. Now I'm nervous and I'm having trouble accepting that is over. Is there anybody kind enough who might be in the know who can confirm that layoffs are done for now or let us know if there'll be more on Monday?

That's funny, no one has been laid off at Change Healthcare. Come work with us. They haven't gotten to Change employees yet. On top of that, I wouldn't tell anyone to come work here!! It's a complete sh-t show. Offshore screws up everything pretty much and then the onshore employees are supposed to perform miracles and fix the issues all while being constantly reminded...you need to be productive. They are monitoring Productivity and shoving it done our throats. It seems we can never do enough to satisfy the corporate monster. They have VERY unrealistic ideas of "Productivity"!
How do you know they are not done?
Way too many ECS directors. 1 director per region East/Central/West that is all that is needed. The directors give their work to the managers anyway.
Hey, nobody has been laid off at Change Healthcare! Come work with us!
It is a way for us to realign for annual increases and bonus. Mostly, to impact percent allocation.
They do it before MAPs start, typically
The last big layoff I saw in 2019 was a lot of higher ups in leadership and anyone below 2 years so they didn’t have to pay severance. This was done right before Christmas 2019.
Layoffs at Optum are never done. They do not all year long unless they can figure out a way to fire someone so they don’t have to pay severance.
Layoff are not done
