For some preservice and SICCs that had lost Care Coordinators, CTMs and SCMS, have you already had a “meeting” after RIF?
The reviewers at optum?
HH was completely dismantled and now the rumor is the Pre-service and SICCs are going to be completely dissolved as well. Who is going to do these jobs that move all these people from Hospitals to skilled nursing for rehab if they do that???
It’ll be the same situation eventually
Do you anticipate or have you heard anything regarding the future of preservice and SICC dept?
They lost the contract with UHC
Did they give any reason why the whole Home Health Navi/Home & Community is being dismantled?
Nobody said all provider relations positions were cut. They said the ones under home health were.
They are were likely referring to HH
Some one stated all provider relations positions are gone, that is not truth. My market still has PRMs
Lots of response and I still have no clear ideas what this means.
Someone response, but can they confirm all of theses are going away? “ Just to clarify - yes Home & Community was impacted by this RIF. That is a group of products under OptumCare. NaviHealth (Care Transitions), HouseCalls, Senior Community Care, FPM, and HBMC/Landmark, are under that umbrella.
I'm personally aware of some impacts across H&C level teams. Assume this is enterprise wide.”
Landmark in Buffalo had many layoffs todays:(
This is a joke right?
Every single role under home health = the home health division made up of MDs, CSOCs, provider relations, OTs, PTs, SLPs, and nurses that UHC had a contract with to do UR for their home health companies/Medicare patients. This division was created a couple of years ago at the request of UHC. They decided they no longer wanted/needed us so now hundreds of people are out of work because of UHC.
I guess when someone says every single role under home health will be gone that is confusing. Does that mean all of home and community? All of Navi? All of fpm/Landmark ect?
Then why is the UHC At Home Program hiring Care Navigators in multiple states at the moment…and this just started in the last month
Just to clarify - yes Home & Community was impacted by this RIF. That is a group of products under OptumCare. NaviHealth (Care Transitions), HouseCalls, Senior Community Care, FPM, and HBMC/Landmark, are under that umbrella.

What exactly does everyone mean by home health? Like LHC group or Landmark? It's a broad term that can mean a lot.
I wonder if they will include Landmark in this.
Home Health is going away completely. All of provider relations is gone in one swoop. In 2 weeks, the providers will have no one to go to for issue resolution. And there are so many issues to resolve.
Everything guys. Every single role under home health division is going to be let go. They are shutting down the department because UHC decided not to renew their contract.
All managers and all HHCCs were let go. The whole home health department (former Navi).
Navihealth is Home and Community
Were all levels of employees let go for H&C HH or only the HHCC's? What about managers, directors, etc?
Did they get a severance package? All of the lay off calls are scheduled and they are informing people, now.
Is Navihealth part of that? What roles were impacted?
