How many times do they have to lie and say we're "valued" and it was "a difficult decision". Liars. They said it's due to loss of business, yet chc didn't lose any business, it's been non-stop busting a-s with a huge work flow. It was really cute they refused to allow mics or questions. I knew this was coming, but they could at least not be such cowards

Businesses all over the country are losing business. My husband makes brake parts for automotive companies overseas....most of the orders were canceled this week due to the threat of tarrif/trade wars again...I am on medical leave until April, I am afraid when I come back I will no longer have a job at Optum.
I remember a story a coder told me about demoing an automation for a senior leader. The automation was going to do what a team of employees was currently doing. This "leader" was impressed by what the coder did and congratulated the coder by saying "Great job, now we can get rid of some more FTEs". That type of statement tells you exactly how they feel about us. But karma is a you know what. About a year later, that same leader suffered a massive heart attack and had to leave his position. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
Loss of business also means the decision to exit the market. They are choosing to lose the business and squash the product. Happens all the time when business areas aren't profitable or have too high operating costs

Every company is the same I just as special as everyone else which aint much. not attending town hall propaganda does wonders for mental health
