Please. Just do it. Bring on the layoffs. Get rid of more hard-working employees, same as every other time. Leave all the a-s-kissers and yes men and women behind. Then watch as the company continues failing and keep wondering why it's happening. I'll be happy to be out of this mess.

The amount I care about the company is in direct proportion to how much I believe they care about me. You should never care more for your company than they care for you. Equal is good and appropriately healthy, even.
I honestly wouldn’t be too upset if I got laid off at this point if I got the severance package those who’ve been laid off before have received. It would force me to find something new whereas that’s hard to justify with being able to WFH and with the high amount of PTO I have.

Well stated. Don’t care anymore. This place is a toxic mess. Once compensation is delivered the rest of the ship will go down.
