UnitedHealth Group has quietly but significantly scaled back its MedExpress urgent care business, with just 19 locations operating across the country — down from more than 150 locations in 2022.

Urgent care and free standing ER markets are saturated. Seems like there are more of them than starbucks these days

Optum doing layoffs until noon today and we are being told it is cost based and has nothing to do with performance.
