Yes. The layoffs are continuing. I am not aware of the volume or locations.

You mean external or internal interviews? Rather give up on this company. More people will join you on bench as there are no projects really.
I really feel more and more frustrated especially for being on the bench for more 5 months. Already passed many interviews but none of them was processed. I don't know when this nightmare will end. It seams it will never end so far.
Rolling layoffs have been ongoing for many months in the US. No end in sight.
"Leadership" teams are broken. In many cases, "leadership" can't be bothered to take time to acknowledge employees that are leaving (or have left) their organizations.
The Kyndryl Playbook:
- Administratively segregate targeted employees from their teams by sending them to "The Bench".
- While on "The Bench", they are told to search for "new opportunities" within the company.
- After 30 days on "The Bench", the employee can be separated at any time if they have failed to find one of the very few "new opportunities" within the company.
- Kyndryl slithers around the reporting requirements of the WARN act by carefully constructing the timing of the layoffs.
Morale is in the toilet. I've seen many outstanding long-tenured people shown the door.
I was told another 10% of the US workforce this year (2025) alone. They are really cutting on the Core Enterprise & zCloud teams in the US, and the delivery MFaaS teams. Good luck folks
US employee presence will be reduced to bare minimum. The US business is not doing well vs. other countries. As many as possible backoffice roles that are US based are being redeployed to other regions or outsourced to vendors, in order to cut costs.
It’s definitely a thing in Europe, especially in Kyndryl Czechia Brno. Bench is growing like he-l (~270 folks there) and almost zero new business opportunities. Existing customers are either leaving or signing very limited contracts with clear view of shifting services out from Kyndryl. Many skilled workers left on their own to not meet with bench experience. But tons of useless managers are still in place, blindly following propaganda orders from top. Situation is absolutely not corresponding with stock price and stock buyback program. Year 2025 will be very interesting for sure!
It appears to be a continuation of the previous layoffs. Smaller, but still. US only. One wonders how the company will maintain relationships with U.S companies.
