It is terrifying the amount of data access that UHG is sending offshore to non-vetted employees in unsecure locations. This will be a massive mistake, previous leadership knew this...so UHG Execs have been replacing with new Leaders to do the bidding of Blackrock Investments who demand stock prices keep going up and up. This is going to be a spectacular implosion and we know who to blame. Amateurs.

Blame Sandeep Dadlani and the people who hired him. He is a company ki-ler. Did the same thing at Mars before he brought "zero distance" and "100x" bs to Optum. He brags he saved $1 billion using AI last year. The reality is maybe 20% of that savings came from process automation and the other from 3,000 US layoffs. UHG is, at this point, just a securitized way for investors to get Medicare money. Staffing the Potemkin village that 'makes healthcare better for everyone' is an afterthought.
You are spot on with this post, tomorrow is the layoff day, managers are currently in termination training. Posted on another page only Medicaid data stays on shore, BUT the data for off shore is masked. This layoff is across the board for optum employees. Employees just had reviews last week and they will be laid off tomorrow, without any annual bonus or merit raises. The question for me is wheee is that money going from the people who got laid off? Where is the upper management located sure is not the US, it’s Ireland and they are controlling all aspects of optum.
