UPDATE Rifs Delayed Until March

Something is working, keep whistleblowing! This week UHG Execs have delayed January RIFs until March. This is the layoffs. They are proceeding with "realignments", meaning they will try and move existing US employees to different areas to then place Optum Global "incompetents" into their positions. This is part of their game to move them layoff people later.

Keep reporting ethics concerns about the useless Optum Global plague infecting us. Call UHG clients, hospitals, doctor's offices etc to tell them how UHG is sending their patient records to unsecured work from home non-trustworthy or vetted employees. Keep reporting to governing bodies and politicians what UHG is doing, replacing even backend reporting roles to India where they have unlimited access backend and frontend. Keep reporting how UHG owned software is allowed offshore in individuals homes while every competitor either bans it OR requires ultra secure "safe rooms" onsite where PCs are bolted to desks and cell phones confiscated with management in the locked room monitoring. Even most OGA management works from home, nowhere near the employees with access to everything. This is a national security risk. Report internal fraud waste and abuse anonymous through this Ethics link. We all see it and have our stories.

Same, our invites came after 4PM - 15 min meeting scheduled on the 23rd. Two of my colleagues received the same invite, all for 15 min.

@ap+1jj76dhpw As a manager it was decided in my org to layoff anyone who had a 2 or was a low performing 3 that particular year (2023). They said it had nothing to do with performance but that was a lie. Every org is different but most won’t layoff high performers randomly unless an entire group or project is being let go.

This is true for my group. Weve been told to delay layoffs until further notice but doubtful the delay is UHG wide. We will be waiting until people leave THEN backfill in India. Our national big time customers, whom many of our employees came from and still support, are getting notified of UHG unethical behavior and flipping out. They feel double crossed by UHG. UHG needs to hide and stifle this or lose other potential customers.

So theyre doing this in waves. Tomorrow is gonna be mostly performance based layoffs.

Performance threshold decided by each manager in the chain.

The full team offshoring is likely in waves. They dont want too much public attention.

End of 2025, 70% offshore FTEs. 30% onshore.
