Visa USA Employees No Longer Fear Layoffs

With the immediate dismantling of Federal DEI orders, and the recent voluntary dismantling of similar programs in the private sector, talented Visa employees now feel confident they can get a new job elsewhere based on their merit and skillsets.

The only remaining question is whether or not Visa will be able to actually achieve their net increase developer staffing goals as talented Visa staff start confidently leaving of their own volition.

"If you want severance, apply for roles and notify your manager about seeking internal/external opportunities. Manager will put you on the next "cost reduction" "re-structuring" list. :)"

Is that serious? That easy? Exclusive for the US, or also the case for CEMEA?

DEI isn't the reason for what is occurring at Visa re: staffing. It's cheap labor via H1B1s and outsourcing roles to India, Poland, and other countries. Meanwhile our clients are frustrated at all of the changes. American employees can either leave or wait to be paid to leave. I am waiting for the latter.
