I would take it and never look back. I’m sure there are many of us who would do the same. Even in this economy.

They already tried it, somewhere around 2016, if you were 55+ and had worked at the company for 20+ years you got a year of salary and health benefits. The response was more overwhelming and costly than they had anticipated. So that approach was ki-led, and now we have the monthly barbarism we’ve experienced for almost a decade.
Count me in! Been begging to be let go for the last three years.
