I can't believe we still have this d-mb department that produces absolutely zero value for this company and staff while actual talents are losing their jobs. The DEI director just sent another blah blah email on MLK day, right after the latest round of layoffs in the MSIP team. Every major company is starting to get rid of their DEI department with the new direction of the country. Q needs to take notice.

DEI should be 100% cut. But that is not enough to set the point. HR enabled this cr-p and punishment of HR needs to happen. Fir everyone in HR at director and above. Fire 50% below director.
'DEI is bye bye."
you were packing Q with indians who are not white
which easily satisfied DEI requirements
i'd worry more about the 'insourcing' and outsourcing
the DEI is probably a drop in the bucket compared to that
(not saying DEI should stay)
Which dept should not be let go in whole? Pmic or gsoc?
During the San Diego BLM riots in 2020, QC invited Geneviéve Jones-Wright an attorney and activist to speak with a small group of QC black employees that showed up to this meeting.
Ms. Jones-Wright spent the entire meeting race-baiting (intentionally provoking or manipulating racial tensions and emotions to achieve a particular goal). Then she encouraged black QC employees to go out and protest in the local BLM riots. In my opinion this was dangerous and unbelievable that QC would invite such a radical person to speak to a group of black educated white-collar professionals.
I ignored Jones-Wright appeals.
Today, as I reflect on this meeting, I wonder If I had been d-mb enough to go out and protest in these BLM riots, and as a result were injured, would Qualcomm be responsible.
DEI is bye bye.
DEI doesn't do sh-t anyways qcom is full of indians. Lmao
President Trump ended DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs because he believed they were discriminatory and undermined a merit-based system. He argued that DEI initiatives unfairly favored certain groups over others, leading to reverse discrimination. Trump wanted to focus on individual skills, performance, and hard work, rather than DEI-related factors. His goal was to create a more colorblind and merit-based society, where opportunities were based on individual merit rather than identity.
Hopefully QC will follow this directive.
I stand corrected: Executive Order 13985 itself was not a law, but it directed federal agencies to take specific actions. Many companies, especially those with federal contracts (such as QGOV) enhanced DEI efforts to align with the federal government's.
Good bye and good riddance DEI .
"Goodbye and good riddance to DEI That wicked law is now dead."
It wasn't a law. It began at our universities.
A weasel like way of discriminating against poor and middle class whites.
They are funded by our government and donors who 'made' their
money from Fraud Street.
We should all thank President Trump for getting rid of DEI which was imposed on us by that horrible Executive Order 13985 : Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government, that Ex-president Biden signed into law on January 20, 2021. (DEI goes against MLK's dream of judging a person by the content of his character, not the color of his skin)

Come on you guy's in QPSI it's fun
Others are saying that DEI stands for “Didn’t Earn It”
Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream was about achieving a society where everyone is judged by their character and not by the color of their skin.
Here is a quote from the MLK "I Have a Dream" speech"
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they Will Not Be Judged By The Color Of Their Skin But By The Content Of Their Character."
DEI hiring is based on race and gender and identity, not merit.
Affirmative Action hiring was based on race and s-x quotas or preferences instead of merit.
is Q in San Diego or India now
if it is Indian, what difference does it make if it is DEI or not
