New manager and insights/OKRs

Is anyone else experiencing “average” insight reviews after receiving new manager (due to VSP or ISP)?
I felt overworked over the past few months, regularly take on the manager’s job role, but I received an average review from my new manager.

I’ve only been here 10yrs. Started with focal which made me laugh out loud. Then insights now self assessment lol. Heee haaa lol. Prior to Intel my other company did the same thing. If they like you you’re employed. If they don’t, make sure your resume is updated lol.

I was out most of Q4 on short term disability
I had OKR’s
They were graded “deprioritized”
No getting out of the bureaucracy

To the OP, count your blessings! My new manager shut down my department and sent my job to China. I literally had to train Chinese engineers to do my job to get the separation package.

I used chatgpt to generate my OKRs. The manager took that and added the word "roadmap" and then submitted it.
There no top down OKRs for the BU, no CEO...so just use keywords, generate junk and submit for now.

All OKRs/INSIGHT/FOCAL are pure bullsh-t!
Its a game they play, its corrupted and you cant do anything about.

So dont bother and waste energy on it.
Good luck

It's the standard "What have you done for me lately?" attitude that all Intel managers have. Never understood why Intel always rotates managers like this. Probably to prevent coups... people usually have loyalty to the manager who hired them then just turn bitter against the others since they mever agreed to work for the new manager.
