Urgent Report Ethics Concerns UHG

All, i put my neck on the chopping block for you. I am in a position to know that absolutely UHG is conspiring against US jobs, using the useless and fraudulent Optum Global brand to sneak around. The only reasons many people were not layed off already is employees reporting UHG, they're scared of the bad press and legal repercussions. Some may argue theoretically that US patient, provider, payor info isnt sent globally but it is...even worse it's done the UHG way, sloppy and full of mistakes. If there's a full audit it will be seen what UHG is doing. It's a lot worse than most would think. Use this anonymous Ethics complaint form, ran by a 3rd party company. Report our leaders, execs, even Witty himself. Report to governing bodies, media, everyone possible. It will at the very least put UHG on notice that they arent fooling anyone.

What I say is true, why many have probably noticed townhalls and every other announcement cancelled. UHG Execs are being called out and second guessing what will happen as they proceed with their conspiracy.

Agreed, the biggest concern should be that these optum backend positions have 0 oversight into whether offshore is viewing PHI or not. 0 auditing or oversight is being done, im not sure if the government even cares.

Ive seen credentials get shared, machine access get shared, and 100% publicly accessible endpoints with 0 security that can access PHI get deployed wiith 0 oversight in my time here.

Any attempt to report is met with retaliation by (Indian) middle management

You guys are concerned about some clerk in India denying a claim. I am disgusted that they move all the customers data offshore by providing secure access to offshore staff. The India IT staff has been on collaboration calls where they have people looking over the shoulder of the IT person with access who’s working the problem. India IT staff may seem like cheap labor but they can’t follow our information security practices and get their job done! I called them out and was black balled by my management as not being a team player, a good soldier. Frankly I don’t blame India, they are happy to be employed by an American corporation and they don’t care if they displace us. It’s the MN management that has left the bridge, so by all means report them! I mean to post on the DOGE portal to investigate all the American corporate offshoring of high paying jobs and the impact to our state employment development departments and federal retirement system!

Optum has been doing these monkey business since February 2023. Moving jobs offshore goals have been increasing, at the moment my position was eliminated their goal was 80% of the workforce to be offshore. The SOW are specific on the language of offshore PHI managing information, but there are no audits to ensure or fiscal agency to ensure this information still protected. The only area not hiring anyone offshore is the OptumServe area, as they manage military contracts.

I just got an urgent email from a large project that I completed last February. A offshore team took ownership of the process.

Got an email about 2 hours ago that the process no longer works and now they have to explain to the client that they broke their agreement and have that process to an offshore India team.

This is a major error and will cost the company tens of millions of dollars and possibly a massive client. Holy cow!!!

Personal health information, Social Security numbers, etc have been accessed by offshore
Workers for at least the past 10-15 years. This is nothing new.
The feds know about this, and don't care. I personally reported it to my State Senator years ago. He didn't care.

I posted the last comment. They are playing right in our face and I want to do something about it!!!!!

To the OP point, I found requisition # 2268723 which states and I quote

“Business Analyst Consultant – 2268723
NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT EMPLOYMENT CERTIFICATION
This Notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for the position shown below. Any person may provide documentary evidence bearing on the application to the Certifying Officer,
U.S. Department of Labor
Employment and Training Administration
Office of Foreign Labor Certification
200 Constitution Avenue NW, Room N-5311
Washington, DC 20210”

What this means:
A "Notice of Filing of Application for Permanent Employment Certification" means that an employer has filed a petition with the U.S. Department of Labor to hire a foreign worker for a permanent position in the United States, and is notifying current employees that they can submit evidence if they believe a U.S. worker is qualified for the job; essentially, it's a public notice that the company is trying to hire a foreign worker for a specific role and is open to receiving feedback from American workers who might be interested in the position.

Is it possible to get proof or paper trial of this through VPN secure, so we are not traced. I think we should be reporting this to prominent news stations, social media investigators. Let’s be honest social media gets S H I T done.

How can we get this out to the public. Bc unless there is an uprise, this will continue. Sad part is, it is people like us who have to begin the movement!!!!

You are only as secure as your weakest link. There are anywhere between 4 to 8 teams involved in the healthcare data sausage making before its delivered to an end user. Every single one of those teams are being mandated to go 70% offshore while also "keeping the lights on". End result? Offshore viewing the data wi--y nilly as keeping the systems up takes precedence over that pesky compliance.

This is absurd and incomprehensible.../ Are you saying that non-licensed folks overseas are reviewing the clinical documents written by licensed professionals and deciding on care delivery?
If that’s the case, then what’s the purpose of state regulations, board exams, certifications, registration, credentialing etc../

Yep, its just indirect lawbreaking. Layoff all the onshore on a team that handles PHI and payment info. Whose responsible for breaking the law now that offshore are the only ones who can do the day to day support tasks that involve the PHI?
