I am trying to assess what business and financial impacts the new Trump administration might have on Comcast and NBCUniversal. I don't foresee Trump making good on any threats of anti-monolopy actions against Comcast, but I think NBCU might have two significant financial impacts headed its way: One is if Robert Kennedy Jr is successful in blocking pharmaceutical companies from running ads on TV and cable TV. That's a big chunk of NBCU's ad revenue. The second problem is if NBC (and ABC and CBS) will have the broadcast spectrum they get to use for free now put up for auction for alternative uses. I'm guessing that spectrum is worth billions of dollars of annual cost if they want to keep using it.

I hear you. NBC and Universal will survive as thriving brands long-term, but the days for the classic standalone NBCUniversal entity seem to be numbered. Those thriving NBC and Universal brands will live under their respective current places under Comcast and be led by Comcast leaders. What's does that mean for folks working in NBCU? You don't want to be working in a NBCUniversal shared service (e.g. O&T) and away from Comcast office locations. The existing major NBCU jobs hubs will probably be fine as Comcast work-from-office locations for many years. Also, you don't want to be a redundant senior or middle tier manager in a NBCU shared service.
