Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Would the bonus payout be lower than the one during the great financial crisis?

For those have have been here back then, do you remember?

It was announced over a month ago that the bonus pool would be funded at 30% of target. As an Aetna employee, for the past several years, funding was at least 100% of the target.

So, for example, if you were in a position that was eligible for a 20% bonus and your bonus was funded at 100%, that would mean your bonus for the year would be 20% of your base salary.

Management has some flexibility in what is given to a particular employee for their bonus. If your bonus is to be funded at a lesser amount, such as 30% of target, if your position is such that you are eligible for a 20% bonus, since 30% of 20% is 6%, your bonus would be 6%.

Unfortunately that's a huge drop compared to previous years.
