I hope everybody realizes this. It's not about getting everybody back to the office. It's about trimming the workforce while avoiding huge severance payouts. Just think about it, how many people do you know who are planning to quit over full RTO? The list is longer than you think.

Along the same lines, finding an out of the way, low traffic $hitter to grab a moments peace will be Job 1 for this worker bee.
Not enough office space for full RTO in the US. If remote employees are forced to return, some will have no choice but to quit or be fired. It’s not easy or quick to sell a home, find another one and move. Plus the financial implications since mortgage rates are so high now. Also, why go through a move to turn around and be laid off? This company is in a downhill spiral.
No such thing as a Soft Layoff
At least 50% of the "I'll quit before I RTO" crowd is all talk. Same type as "I'll leave the country if DJT is elected president". Yeah, ok buddy.
