No CEO, acquisition rumors, losing market share, product issues, employee morale at the lowest, constant layoffs, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. How was it allowed for once a great company to reach this point? Are those responsible ever going to face any consequences for their actions?

@cd+1jj10emjg You sounded like a real person until you claimed you are still getting UBS statements.
Unless you posted this before the intel account was moved to Etrade, and it just took that long for the post to show up.
troll much?
Arrogance from upper management and all drinking the Kool-aid did you guys in. I worked their about 5 years taking the NEO class when I started. The company I came from made chips for mobile phones.
I asked if Intel made chips for mobile phones, and was about laughed out of the room. I was told tge equipment Inrel had in the cleanroom was too expensive and they left the cheaper low margin chips to the "little guys".
After about my second year there Intel was making a cheap mobile chip for a China company desperately trying to break into the mobile segment with the "little guys".
It should be no surprise what is happening to Intel. Not only mis-management, but also how they treated suppliers and other companies with their arrogant demands over the years.
I still have my Intel stock, getting UBS statements. Lost over half, confident a buyout will boost it and maybe someone /company can figure out how to properly spend the $Billions the tax payers are loosing on this snking ship.
Yes higher up will face consequence : Par already is out with 200M, MJ will be next with another 100M , other executives will also be in similar boat with exit worth million of dollars , one who is working at grass root level will struggle to make and Meets , better to look outside at this time if you think you are in critical role at company or repent later ..
The corrupted people are still hiding inside and using their power to destroy a great American company.
Stop being so overdramatic.
Intel was never really that great.
They inherited at monopoly and used scale to maintain it.
When the world changed and the monopoly broke, the mediocrity came through as they were forced to compete without monopoly privileges.
1 company split between 2 countries, failure inevitable.
No they won’t because everyone allows them to just continue on like it’s business as usual. I hear people say forget about it or move on…. Let it go… buts that problem! People just let it pass and it will just happen again. Or people who completely ruined others careers get promoted up- wtf? We are trained to be complacent cows but really we should hold some grudges and remember the past when people fu---d us over
