So, 5 days RTO is inevitably coming. Any guesses how they gonna call it? Like hybrid pro/pro max? Or any other term they gonna come up with?

Remotes will be gone before the end of the year?? Do you mean the end of the fiscal year or the end of 2025/FY26? Or you just trolling? My whole team is remote and for sure others would need to be trained to replace us before something like that could take place. It's not logical. Look at all the folks that are remote.. engineers, HR, UAT testers, help desk agents, PAMs, OP, VPs, Directors.. Dell messed up when they let everyone choose to be remote - nobody wants to drive to office, dress up, pay for lunches & daycare if given the choice not to.
Slow March to being Kodak

“We’ll be giving out perfect attendance certificates at the end of each quarter. You can put them on the fridge next to your kids’ because in reality that’s how we treat you.”
They put a bunch of us back five days since 2022, and 98% of our work can be done remotely. But, the manager's bosses wants "everyone" (programmers, lab techs, etc) onsite five days a week. Yet during meetings, they are on video in their homes, mocking us.
“Party like it’s 1999 with five days a week in the office!”
“We want to take you back to how we worked in the 1980s and 90s*. Everyone will get a free Dell branded pocket protector on their first day back.”
- Note: unlike back then, you won’t have assigned desks or cubicles with walls. You’ll have to fight your co-workers (who you don’t work with) for the few desks in a wall-less open office floor-plan that may be available. Some of you will have to sit on the floor. Unlike the late 20th century, your team will be spread around the globe so you won’t actually interact with them when you are in the office (but we brought Zoom back so that’s cool!). Also unlike the late 20th century, we forbid you leaving work at work. You’ll still be required to be connected to work early in the morning before you leave for the office and when you get home in the evening to work with your colleagues in EMEA and APJC. But trust us, this makes the most sense as we transition to AI.
What a miserable way to live
