WFH is definitely a target on your back. If you can't commit to what the company wants or needs than you are a good candidate for release. This isn't exclusive to Intel either. This is no longer an employee's job market. Wise up or get ready for some economic pain. It doesn't matter if it is the right or the wrong decision. It is the company's choice to set job requirements.
They don’t need too….. they will absolutely be let go by who ever the new owner is.
