The 5 day a week is just for 'hybrid', there is no change for remotes. Obviously Dell don't want remotes and they plan overtime to phase out all the people who stay remote but there is no change coming for them in Feb

If you're field, you're field. That shouldn't change.

I’m also Field and wondering the same thing! We are never mentioned in all this…
I'm "Field" but I'm not sure how this lines up in JC/MDs cross hairs. Have they forgotten about us?!
Eventually if you are remote you’ll need to get to an office. The entire point of Dells RTO is to get everyone back to the office.
Dell collects low performers
"went to Dell because they were remote friendly"
yup. at the end of the day that was the only "perk" at dell.
And even then they managed to eff that up.

"I9" Bunch of people in my group much lower , looking at moving up for years and keep getting passed up. Good people that do actually work their butt off.
Former I9 Remote worker. Was hired as remote, delivered a bunch of stiff then they told us we couldn't be promoted because of "culture". Lol no problem ace they only reason I worked for Dell is because they were remote. I had offers from Amazon and Google but went to Dell because they were remote friendly. Once they changed their mind, I left and got another job. That place is a legitimate joke ran by shoe l!cking clowns.
So the rumors about making remotes within a certain distance from an office return is fake news?
They actively want to get rid of anyone that has half a brain and cut the salary bill.
Dell hate to pay and treat staff like sh-t and we let them.
Such a terrible culture. The problen is they have hired so many new kids that dont know the difference between a good and bad culture when Tell Dell rolls around they will score both the leadership and Dell highly and the cycle will start again.
Remotes are the winners if you’ve already reached your terminal level (i9 for most). I7 can still get promoted so you’re a winner until you’re stuck at i8
What is telecom infrastructure Blocks p
PdM team doing for past 7 years ? With no revenue and no customer, why havent the VP and his PdM team been replaced by more competent ones ? They have been allowed to cover their failures by transitioning to AI.
They actively want to rid remotes. The irony is most of the low-performers actually ran back to RTO thinking it was a good way to hide from reductions.
So that is why remotes are still around at this point in time.
But be sure they are gunning for the remotes
seems like remote are the winners in this entire debacle.
