Once Aetna was removed from stock exchange it was all over. CVS ruined Aetnas good name and its people
Sell Aetna off
The plan years ago was to retire the Aetna name. This was prior to the bad acquisition of Oak Street and Signify. This was prior to the fallout from post covid.
CVS will either move foward with that idea closing stand alone retail or sell off their membership to another company.
The campus in Hartford is beautiful, but it is a relic of a different time.
Mo--ns the Hartford building is Aetna's building. It's been Aetna's headquarters for 200 years. BTW Aetna's has been a business far longer than CVS. Get your history right.
If anything Aetna should be distancing itself from CVS, especially with them raising the prices on RX with administration. It's a Mafia.
CVS needs to sale Aetna
It’s dragging the whole company down
I'm guessing at this point CVS wants to get Aetna out of Hartford. I remember reading somewhere they want to move Aetna's headquarters to Manhattan? Connecticut is balking at that and trying to keep Aetna in Hartford where they are. Supposedly CVS agreed to keep Hartford offices until 2026/2028? But these trickle-type layoffs will slowly drain Hartford offices. Aetna has been in Hartford forever. Leave it to CVS to sc--w that up.
